As many have heard, lilo (Rob Levin), the father of the Freenode IRC network, passed away on September 16th. He was hit by a car on September 12th while riding his bike and subsequently died from head trauma in the ICU.
We extend our heartfelt sympathies to his friends and family. He was a boon to the open source community and will be missed.
