Hey archers,

some of you were surprised, because none of archlinux.fr admins did react on 
the ML, about the french sites mediation.

It's because we didn't want to embitter the situation. We decided to 
intervene, to show we followed the exchange, and that we want this situation 
to evolve in good way. The main admin of archlinux.fr - those who forked - 
don't want to intervene, and let us (marci1 and I, earendil_), first to 
present ourselves, and study a way to solve the problem.

Follows, a presentation of marci1 and I : 


My name is Marc Poiroud alias "marc[i1]", I'm using Arch Linux since 9 months,
before I use Slackware.
I'm moderator on Archlinux.fr forum, I'm contributor on wiki and IRC.
I translate pacman man pages in french, the Arch Standard Packaging wiki and
other stuff.
I write PKGBUILD to AUR : 
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?K=marc[i1]&SeB=m
I maintenor of archlinux package on french repo.

I never talk with Benoit Chesneau and I'm in charge to talk with the mediator 
in
this stuff.

I choose archlinux.fr because I find fresh and smart people, I came after the
"clash" and I don't care about it, I just want fun with Linux, Arch Linux. And
the archlinux.fr team give me this fun.

My name is Jean-Baptiste Balleyguier. I use archlinux since december 2006. 
I'm moderator on the IRC chan. I contribute to the site (web development & 
forums contributions). I choose archlinux.fr because of its community 
dimension.
