[arch] Question about dbus, HAL and gnome

Hello,

I have a two portion question.

   1. What is the correct procedure to have the different CD/ROM + USB
   Key + HD automounted in gnome. My error is : A security *policy* in
   place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see
   message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "
   org.freedesktop.*Hal*.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error name
   "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.*Hal*") when I double click on
   them. I'm part of the storage group. What is the message bus configuration
   file?
   2. My other question is related to gnome, how can I reduce the number
   of devices available under My computer. Each partition has a device. I would
   like to have instead only the one I would like to show. I don't need each
   partitions, I would like that it starts with my two HD instead. If that's
   not possible, can we just selected the one we want to view.
