Hi there!
As pointed out in a couple of posts before, it is due to the xkeyboard-config
package upgrade from 0.6 to 0.9. I had the same issue as well, notably
the "Alt+Shift" combination used to toggle the two keyboard layouts i'm using
stopped working as always, and I had to press shift first and then alt.
Previously the order of pressing the keys didn't matter. I reverted to 0.6
and everything went back normal
