I didn't know of that one until now.
Well, apparently solved my problem. Thanks.
BTW, is that supposed to happen in a newly installed system? It's ok on a
some-time-old system, that got many packages installed/uninstalled over time
and the db gets fragmented....
Has the new pacman version changed way things work? Perhaps running
pacman-optimize after pacman upgrades (on post scripts)?
