hey Waldemar, thanks buddy, it works. my system is still slow but not
that slow. it takes a long time to login and i get frequent
interruptions while i work. i mean, when i click something, e.g. Emacs
launcher, then my mouse pointer gives a sudden "jerk" i.e it *stops*
for a moment and then goes OK again after that moment. it happens
frequently. i also observed this happens all the time in Fedora Core
6.
font-cache trouble is fully resolved.
