[arch] Arch has gone *too* slow

i changed it to:

[arnuld at arch ~]$ cat /etc/hosts
#
# /etc/hosts: static lookup table for host names
#

#<ip-address>   <hostname.domain.org>   <hostname>
127.0.0.1       localhost.localdomain   localhost

192.168.0.3    arch.localdomain         arch

# End of file
[arnuld at arch ~]$

and gave it a reboot. trust me , it does not help :-(
