[arch] hald refuses to mount cd's automatically after last update

Hi All,

After the last update of hal and dbus (about a week ago I think), My
DVD-RW is not automatically detected by the Gnome Desktop anymore.

It fails to show up in Places -> Computer. It used to "just work(tm)";
Just put in a CD/DVD/CD-R/ETC, and watch the disc pop-up unto the
desktop.

Now it does not automagically mount and does not show up in Places. I
don't (and never did) have an entry in /etc/fstab, which should not be
necessary.

I'm hoping someone can help me out and help me understand hal and dbus
based auto-mounting so I can fix this, or maybe it's a bu in the new
pkg?
