[arch] vesafb and Appple cinema display 30-inch

Hi everyone,

I just bought an Apple Cinema Display (30inch),and I need to know how to 
get vesafb-tng to play nicely so that I don't see garbled text in the 
boot process. I use LILO.

My current settings in lilo are:

append="video=vesafb:ypan,2560x1600-32 at 60"

(Note:2560x1600 is native. 1600x1200-32 at 85 worked fine on my old CRT)


But this setting just gives me some scrambled text after I make the 
selection at the bootloader. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
