I add
[shadowhand]
Server = http://arch.os-zen.net/pkg/shadowhand
to my pacman.conf
And I do pacman -Sy
And then:
[root at procyon temp]# pacman -S xgl-cvs
error: unresolvable dependencies:
xgl-cvs: requires fixesproto>=4.0 but it is not in the sync db
[root at procyon temp]# pacman -S compiz-cvs
compiz-cvs: not found in sync db
They are obviously in the repo.
Now, is there a way to refresh the SYNC database without destroying
/var/lib/pacman?
So that pacman thinks it never did a pacman -Sy but still holds all the
installed package info.
Or if you have another idea.....
